Inside Product Technology Lab

Product technology lab is equipped with state of the art equipment

Kjeldahl Apparatus

Use to determine organic nitrogen and protein contents in chemical substance
It consists of three steps
1. Digestion
2. Distillation
3. Titration

Spray Granulator

It converts water containing solution, paste or suspension or a melt into granule.
It is also used for fertilizer coating.

High Pressure Permeation Rig

Here gas permeation technique was used to study the influence of the carbon content in the permeation of hydrogen

Dead End Filtration Cell

In dead end filtration, the applied pressure drives the entire feed through membrane filter producing a filtrate which is typically particle free while the separated particles form a filter cake

Filtration Unit With Vacuum
Assembly

Vacuum filtration is to create negative pressure in the container underneath the membrane and accelerate liquid to pass through the membrane to separate solid from liquid

Bath Sonicator

A lab bath sonicator uses ultrasonic waves to generate cavitation bubbles, aiding in cleaning, cell disruption, and mixing. It is commonly used for removing contaminants, lysing cells, dispersing nanoparticles, and creating emulsions

Drying Oven

Use to absorb moisture from the mixture by supplying heat at designated temperature

Hot Plate

Use for heating and stirring the mixture

Weight Balance

Use to measure the weight of sample

Probe Sonicator

A probe sonicator uses ultrasonic waves to generate intense vibrations through a metal probe, disrupting cells, homogenizing samples, or dispersing particles in liquids. It's commonly used for cell lysis, emulsification, and breaking down materials at the microscopic level.

Spray Dryer

A lab spray dryer converts liquid samples into dry powders by rapidly drying them with a hot gas. It is commonly used for producing fine, consistent powders in pharmaceuticals, food processing, and chemical research, preserving material properties through controlled drying.

Fume Hood

A lab fume hood is a ventilated enclosure designed to safely capture and expel hazardous fumes, vapors, or dust during experiments. It protects users by maintaining airflow away from the lab environment, ensuring a safer workspace for handling volatile or toxic substances.
